The miles 0n my 2000 528i is 98548. My engine recently hydro locked. I bought a engine with 48541 documented miles and had one of my mechanics at the Pontiac Buick GMC store I run do the instalation. the climate in kansas currently is rather cold and since i have had it back initally it has had a rough idel when cold and sometimes dies when idling. today I had a check engine illuminate. I had it scanned and it said 02 sensor heater circut malfunction c bank #2 sensor #2

Need to check your oxygen sensors. If OK, check wiring to sensors. If this is OK too, need to flow test the catalytic converter.

I agree, the fault could be for pinched wires or a bad sensor. Good call bluelightnin6, good on ya.
