Transmission problem
1999 BMW 528 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 115K miles
I'm having isssues with my transmission, when the car is cold the speedometer works for about 5-10 minutes. then it goes to zero, the transmission starts shifting erratic, i can clear the codes, and first to come back on is the p0500 vehicle speed sensor code, then after i start driving for awhile i get another tranmission malfunction code. p174x something but i believe that's only because of the first code, my question is where is the vehicle speed sensor located on this car, or what sensor sends the signal to the speedo??
