Did you use the correct oil and is it at the correct level? The fill plug is on the main body of the transmission and the oil level when correct should be at that fill plug with the engine running and the temperature of the oil between 30 and 50c. The EGS (electronic gear selection) is readable for faults from the 20 pin diagnostic connector under the hood, please read them out or have them read out and respond back and we can go from there. This may require a trip to the dealer or an independent BMW repair facility.
