Computer problem
1998 BMW 528 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi, I am a computer professional and I am intersted to learn how to troubleshoot ECM (on board computers) on my car or any other car.
How to flash the program? What tools do I neeed?
Is there any training I can take?
I am willing to pay for your advise

Mike, you are going to have to get information that is proprietary from the manufacturers to complete this task and I wish you the best of luck. If you can reverse engineer the electronics for BMW or for any car maker, people will beat a path to your door.
