Out of the blue my interior handle stopped working to get in and out of car. Is this something I can fix easily and if so how do I do that?

It sounds like the control rod inside the door came off, these are attached with clips, and it must have broke or popped out. open the door from the outside, and remove the trim panel, then reattach the control rod from the handle, to the lock mechanism.

It is a control cable and might require replacement.
