1997 BMW 528 Window Problem...

Hey there,

I have a 97 BMW 528 and the window on the passenger side keeps popping out of its tracks. I already removed the door panel and reinstalled the window onto the track but it still pops out when I role the window up or down. Should I replace the regulator and the motor or just the regulator? Is that even the problem?

Possibly a regulator, your description of the problem sounds like the attachment of the slider to the cable has been compromised, remove the door panel and inspect the regulator.
