The indicator that tells you that you have a light out is showing that I have a bad bulb in the right rear, but all thr lights and flasher are working. Brakes, tail, signal, flasher, backup and everything. I disconnected the baterry and it went a way for a while but can back on the same day.

Inspect all the bulbs for discoloration and replace with OE BMW bulbs if any show signs of age. Also inspect the bulbholders and the tail light assemblies for corrosion and/or pitting at the contacts. DO NOT USE BRASS BASE LIGHT BULBS, Use the stainless base bulbs from BMW.
