when shifting past reverse with vehical on my #6 fuse blows, is there a part for the reverse light switch and where is it located

The reverse indicator and back up lights work off the selector switch at the shifter itself. An inspection of the center console wiring harness is also in order as well as the wiring to the rear light assemblies.
