Air Conditioning problem
2001 BMW 525i

Can you tell me where I can locate the A/C Blower register/regulator? How do I replace this part? The blower is periodicly running when the car is off and is killing the battery. I have been advised that it is probably the regulator.

It is called the final stage unit.
It is located in the passenger footwell area. Remove the carpet trim (there is a Phillips screw in the carpet) pull the plastic tray under the glovebox forward and out it comes. The final stage is located close to the firewall, it is the thing with the 5 wires going into it.
