1995 BMW 525i no power to fuel pump

my fuel pump wont get power. its brand new just got it today. i replaced the relays and the sending unit does have power but not the pump. i also hit the fuse for the pump with a test light and it doesnt have any power. its the same cable for the sending unit so why doesnt my pump get power please help

You replaced the fuel pump, correct?
