Yesterday my daughter left for college and the car was running fine. She reported that once she got into Charleston she had difficulty accelerating and more difficulty when whe need to accelerate from a stop. She indicated she needed to push the gas pedal to the floor.

This could be a transmission issue with the torque converter not able to multiply torque.

Can you please describe]be the symptoms that the car would display when/if the torque converter is causing issues? Because I have something somewhat similar going on in my car but it does not feel like transmission but more like clogged or dirty injectors especially because when I added chevron fuel system cleaner it actually slightly helped the issue. It is also something that is not throwing any codes.
