1993 BMW 525i Two Wheel Drive Automatic

How do you remove a ignition swtch for the car above?Can't get the cylinder out and don't want to force or break it.

The lock cylinder removal procedure requires a special tool, I dont have access to my home computer at this time, but the removal tool is little more than a stiff wire about .060" in diameter and about 2.5" long with a plastic handle to maneuver the tool. The key must be inserted and the lock cylinder turned about 45 degrees and the tool inserts in the small relief in the key insertion circle, gets wiggled a bit and out it comes, at least thats what supposed to happen.
