On models without a dipstick, there is a filler plug on the side of the transmission, on the right side on the body of the tranny. It is checked with the engine running. To service the tranny, the pans both need to come off and gaskets cleaned and filter replaced. It takes Dexron ATF. There is no drain plug, you just pull the pans.
