i started my car after not driving it for two days and it started just fine, like it usually does. But when I press the accelerator pedal it completely dies. You can start the car back up but it will do the same thing every time. I am clueless about cars and wanted to get an idea of what could be the problem. If you could help me out it be greatly appreciated it. Thanks

From the information provided, it could be something like the fuel pressure is being compromised (possibly a bad fuel pump) or perhaps something has become disconnected under hood. It is difficult to diagnose from cyberspace with the available information.
