BMW problems

My '93 525, automatic, mileage 260,000 km, leaks ATF from the connection to the transmission cooler under the rad. I've replaced the o-rings but the leak is worse.
Also, the passenger's seat adjustment control blows the fuse even when the motors are disconnected. I replaced the switch, the old one had melted, but the fuse still blows.

It sounds like you might have pinched the o-ring at the transmission cooler or there is something wrong with the cooler itself, remove and inspect. The wiring problem sounds like a pinched or shorted wire, start with removing the seat and inspecting for damage.
