Does anyone know where the starter is on 92 bmw 525i? And if its a difficult fix for an average mechanic?

The starter is located under the intake manifold. It can be a difficult job for the first time. I recommend the Robert Bentley repair manuals for these cars. It is available from Amazon. Com
