1990 BMW 525 How to replace the pin in the driver side armr

Please describe how to replace the pin in the driver's side swinging arm rest. The pin itse;f is only a couple bucks, and I'd like to save the $60 labor charge to have it done at the shop.

It requires removal of the seat back to gain access to the back side of the anchor of which you seek. From the back side look at the bottom of the seat back for two small screws, remove them and gently pull the seat back off.
