2004 BMW 330 service mile/oil change

I recently had my oil changed and resetted the oil change light. Nowmy service mileage is not countnig down. How do I set that and can I change the mile to a lower one?

It cannot be reset. Let the service interval do what it does and it will count down on it's own, trust me. If there is a concern about the interval, try recording the mileage in a record book and use that for your alert instead of the car telling you.
