Computer problem
2004 BMW 330 All Wheel Drive

I just pulled a bunch of fuses out to find the cigarette lighter fuse and when I found the fuse, I also found the card that would have told me which one it was which would have prevented me pulling out half the fuses before I found a burned one...lesson learned. But now, the remote on the key will not operate and the car beeps incessantly when I open the door. Did I delete some programming and if so, how can I reprogram the key?

Reinitialize the key. Get in the car and close the door. Insert the key and turn it to the run position, but do not start. Remove the key and hold the unlock button down and then press the lock button 3x, and then release the unlock button. The doors then all lock and unlock. Repeat with the 2nd key. The procedure is complete when the door is opened or the car is started.
