Transmission problem
2003 BMW 330 6 cyl Automatic 70000 miles

Hi im looking to purchase a bmw 330ci convertible on a 03 plate with automatic / trip tronic transmission. I would like to know if there are any common faults or problems associated with automatics either at a certain age or milage as this would be my first automatic car? Thanks

I would certainly consider a transmission service, however, it is not inexpensive. BMW considers the fluid life time, that is the issue, isn't it? Lifetime of what, a housefly?
