my car engine stared shaking violently. i have noticed the following paterns.
it shakes the most when i come to a stop.
it shakes less when i am driving it or in nutral.
i also noticed that when i accelerate the engine feels forced.

I have not done anything so far. i am trying to find out on this site what do i need to troubleshoot/fix.
Really no idea where to start.

The problem will require some diagnostic skills and perhaps some special tools and equipment, are you so prepared?

yesterday i took the care to the parts store to have the error code read. it came back with errors:
oxigen sensor
engine missfire

I preceeded to replace all spark plugs.

That did not improve the engine performance one bit.

What can i do next?

I will need the last seven characters of the VIN to offer an opinion since BMW did not have a 330 model in 1991.

it is a 2001 model.

i also found the following reponse that explains what is happening to my car. i wonder if i can also try what is suggested here.
