when i start my car the oil light goes out for a few seconds then comes back on for a few seconds then goes out again, untill i stop and restart the car then it does the same thing.

Is the little oil can red or yellow?

The little oil can comes on yellow and i have also checked the oil level on the dip stick,it reads max

Do not worry too much about this issue. It will require replacement of the oil level sender, and it does not mean anything is wrong with the motor, it is just the oil level sensor, they fail quite often and if it were mine I would ignore it. ♥
