1999 BMW 328 Engine noice/whistle

I did an oil change today in bmw 328i(1999) with the filter replaced, after that there is a whistle like noice come from the engine when you remove or loosen th e oil cap sound disapperes, idle speed is fine.@800rpm. Can you please let me know what could be the problem?

The cyclone separator is the noise maker, they fail all the time. Go to amazon. Com for a Bentley repair manual
