1999 BMW 328 blown rear end

Would just like a ballpark figure on what it would cost to repair a blown rear end on the above car. I was given a quote and just wanted to verify it.

The differential replacement takes about 1.5 hours and a replacement diff from a salvage yard might be about 300 bucks. If your quote is at about 500 bucks, you are doing great.
