Electrical problem
1996 BMW 328 Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 102000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have not used the car for sometime. Charged the battery and reconnect it in the boot. When I tried the central locking the boot will not open, even with the key inserted. Is there a certain amount of charge that is required to access the boot. The key will not move but the button will go in and out.
Any help will be great

Seems as though the trunk actuator is an issue here, have you access to the car and does it run? If so, try locking and unlocking the car at the drivers door lock and reattempt accessing the trunk. You should be able to open the trunk with the key at any time. Repost if this isn't working.
