Transmission problem
1996 BMW 328 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 160k miles

so the clutch slips .
I keep hearing about the slave cylinder
on the hydraulic clutch system being pron to faults.
because I can shift and drive well enough in
most cases untill I add a bit of throttle
and the clutch slips...
the question,,, is there any other reason for slippage besides a worn clutch ???
b4 I tear into it..

A slipping clutch is a slipping clutch is a..... The hydraulic system will require inspection in addition to the clutch replacement. If in doubt, replace it now.
