I started up my '93 325i one day, and none of the windows will go down. The check engine light was on as well. Tried a new fuse, that wasn't the problem. Light went off, windows won't budge. Maybe loose wiring? Any ideas?

Sounds like there might be another fuse block somewhere

My 318is does that too, in the winter though. I get different problems depending on the season. In the beginning of the winter, the windows go up and down on their own. Then late in the winter, the window doesn't work at all. Then in the summer, the doors won't open! I am not sure there is a fuse problem as much as electrical glitches with these cars.
