2001 325ci, manual transmission, just hit 100K miles. The clutch is making a loud vibration when you push it all the way in. Is it possible there is a loose part or is the clutch worn out? Any idea how much it will cost if I need a new clutch?

the noise is a failed throwout bearing, the clutch kit should include a pressure plate and a clutch disk, a throwout bearing and a pilot bearing. you should also replace the pivot pin and it will be separate from the kit. labor for thus job is about 5 hours, quotes higher than 5 hours are a rip off. the internet might be a good place to begin pricing the clutch kit. the flywheel may also need resurfacing or replacement if surfacing is not an option
