Hello and thanks in advance for any help!

I have an 86 BMW 325i. I had a leak in a radiator hose, but replaced the hose immediately.

Now, when I try to start the car, it takes a lot of pumping the gas to start. Once started, it will idle fine, but will idles rough when you give it gas. If you remove your foot from the gas pedal, it will idle fine again.

I've checked spark plugs and verified the fuel pump is engaging. I've also just recently replaced the air filter.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the air, possibly MAF, but I dont want to randomly replace parts without some clue of what I'm doing.

I saw that a clamp on the air intake wasn't tightened and I fixed that, but that didnt solve the problem. Any thoughts?

Possibly a fuel delivery issue, check fuel pressure and repost

Mass Airflow Sensor, actually. Replaced that and it started and ran just fine. Thanks for the reply. 2 months is better than nothing. I probably shouldnt have been so cheap and just donated some $$. :)
