I hit a stick in the road the other day and the dashboard brake light illuminated. I have checked under the car and found no loose brake lines, electrical connections and the emergency brake cables are intact. The brake reserviour is full and the sensor seems to be intact too. I don't know what I should look at next.

The left rear sensor wire was broken. Replaced it, but couldn't get the dashboard light to go off. Had to take it to a garage. They used an OBDII computer to reset the light and all is good now. I have a US OBDII but it couldn't reset the light on the dash. Is there any way to reset the fault without investing in a EU capable OBDII??
