Engine Cooling problem
2006 BMW 325 4 cyl 93000 miles

Lately I have had a few issues with my 2006 BMW325i. The fan run high when I first start my car.

The second one is the overheat light comes on. It has only happened twice and the last time it came on i had to add antifreeze. It has been over 100 lately.

Third, periodically the engine seams sluggush and will not excelerate when I push on the gas.

I notice one of your comments on the coolant may be a computer issue. How do I know if i need to update?

The only way to be sure the car needs updating, is to see what the software level is/needs to be, according to the latest version the engineers have rolled out. Doing this may address the issues you are having with the car. The level of sophistication these cars have borders on ridiculous, the repairs done now involve software to fix problems that, in my opinion, should never have made it to production.
