The car is recently been having issues with all of the four power windows. The windows will no longer roll up or down. The driver side front windo is locked in the down position and will not move.

When I attempt to roll the windows up or down it sounds like something is cracking...

Is it the motors to the windows or is it a fuse or electrical problem.

Second BMW with electrical problems...note to self..next time buy American.

The cracking means the window regulators will require replacement. It is a typical failure and the replacements are often prone to failure as well. German engineers are somehow incapable of designing a window regulator that does not break.
