Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2004 BMW 325 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

I have to have the 2 front outer CV Boots replaced and I have received an estimate of 895.00. this is through the dealer, does that sound a bit high?
they also priced a hydralic pulley and belt replace for 895.00?
what is your opinion? I am single and currently laid off from my job! I need a fair price of these repairs, any suggestions.

The dealer is going to be high on most customer pay issues. The quote on the front CV boots isnt too bad, but dont let them put the tensioner in, that is a rip off. Go to Realoem.com and look for the tensioner replacement 11-28-7-838-797 for the mechanical one.
