My coolant light came on after starting the engine in the morning but went off about a minute later. Two weeks later it happened again, same time of day and again for about a minute. The level is ok and I don't see any signs of leaking. What else can I do? Should I top it off and if so is their a coolant I should use?

If there are no coolant leaks then the issue is most likely a coolant sensor or the expansion tank float is suspect.
