The brake pads on my bmw need replacement. I spoke to a service advisor who recommends that the rotor, the sensor and the brake pads should be replaced. A second opinion is highly appreciated.

Its hard to say what needs to be done-the rotors needs to be miked out to indicate replacement or resurfacing. Could be just the pads needs changing

I agree with Raz, the pads are gone but the rotors may still be good. Check Realoem.com for parts prices on the pads and rotors and of course the sensor.
