Is a mass air flow sensor the same thing as a mass air flow meter? I bought a AIP electronics OEM replacement part for my 2002 BMW 325i and I am not sure if the mass air flow meter is what I need or do I actually need the sensor?

it is the same thing, different manufacturers call it meter instead of sensor for some odd reason..
