Hi,
I drive a 2002 BMW 325i, with 245 000km / 153 000 miles on the the clock. I am experiencing problems with my manual gearbox (I suspect). When driving in 1st, 3rd and 5th gear and pushing the gearlever slightly to the left I hear a knocking sound. When I drive faster in the selected gear the frequency of the knocking sound increases.
Secondly when I stop and place the car into 1st gear just before the car comes to a complete standstill I hear the same knocking sound.
Please advice.
