2002 BMW 325 Final Stage Unit the same as Blower motor?

As a previous post, I had the same issue two days ago with A/C and suddenly no air coming from the vents. You advised that member that the final stage unit would need to be replaced. Is that the same thing as the blower resistor or blower motor? Thanks!

The motor is separate, the final stage could be considered a "resistor"
