where is the oil filter canister located in a 325I?

its located on top on engine is a black plastic housing. sometimes they are very stubborn to get the covers off. also you have to be so very careful replacing it, there are o rings that have to be changed and put back together perfectly or you could lose oil pressure. ***be careful**
