within the first minute the oil lamp comes on for 12 seconds and then stays off. I put in new oil filter and oil. How tight do I need to put the cap back on the filter? Why does the oil lap come on and then goes off that one time

Remember you drain the oil,the oil pump takes a couple of seconds to build pressure or the oil pressure relieve valve is sticking.

The torque requirement is right on the top of the cap, 24nm.
What color is the lamp, red or yellow?
