I test drove a 2001 BMW 325i today. During the test drive on the freeway, I felt the engine jerk on accelaration and when I exited the freeway and stopped, the engine died. I started the car again, and accelarated and the engine died again. The salesman said the engine stall was due to the car running out of gas. The guage was not completely on empty and should have still driven normally. If I buy this car, what am I getting myself into?

Fill the tank and see how much it takes to fill it, then compare it to capacity. A low fuel level is possibly the problem, be sure b4 you ink the deal mate ♥
