I've been driving my BMW and have noticed that while braking the steering wheel wobbles. I had the car balanced and the problem continued.

Also, I have tried pushing the car while it is stopped when it is in neutral and it feels like it reaches a certain point and then gets stuck and rolls back. While driving at a slow speed it feels like there is rubbing.

are all of these problems related to the rotors? What could it be?

Hello,

Typically, when the brake rotors are wrapped you will feel pulsation on the brake pedal and sometimes the steering wheel as well.
Just so we have a clear picture, do this vehicle have factory or aftermarket wheels. If the wheels are not hub centric to the vehicle it will create steering wheel wobble.

You need to do a lateral runout check on the rotor. This will tell you if the rotors are wrapped.
On you runout test you will have to use a special tool with a dial gauge it will measure if the rotors are wrapped by measuring the lateral runout.

I have attached the runout test procedure below. Also included the brake pads and rotors replacement procedure for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
