Ok I got the fan to come out( because the fan blades were broken off) but it wont fit back in.

do I have to remove the radiator or can I go throught the bottom or what do I have to do?

It just takes getting the fan in the right orientation and it is a left hand thread. It is not easy but it should go on, I have tried holding the fan while a helper cranks the starter, you need to be careful the engine doesn't start, to do this, pull the fuel pump fuse and let it run till it dies.

Now do I have to take anything off to do this? Should I go in the top or in the bottom?

I am not mechanically inclined at all and am very surprised I got the first one out to tell you the truth. Figures dont know anything about cars and buy a bmw. Crazy

I guess you could go in from the top or the bottom, I usually do it all from the top.

Should I be afraid to bend the fan at all or will it not break that easy?
