My cars been sitting for 4 years, i recently replaced the fuel pump, and then flushed and did an oil change because the car had a hard time turning over, for the first 10 ingnition tries i would just hear a click and nothing, after a bit then i hear a whinning like a saw going back and forth, and after i do about 5 ignition start tries with that, then i hear the egine going but cant staqy on for the next 5 or so tries, until finally it seems like the engine is warmed up enough and it stays on and its pretty good till the car engine gets cold again.
I replaced the spark plugs, nope it needed it anyway but that didnt resolve the 30 ignition starting process.
im thinking the starter or something, would that be something i can do my self?

Does it have a new, fully charged battery and clean connections ? Is there fresh fuel ? Starters do not usually fail a little at a time, they just stop working. Is that what it is, not working or it takes a long time to start it ? Please be more specific.
