1993 BMW 325 Manual LOTS miles
My car recently started acting weird. The MPG gauge is going bonkers and it back fired and the when you give it gas it doesnt have the power it normally does. It also made a weird sound when driving it while I was shifting like the muffler makes (has the racing kinda sound from the muffler) but it was more muffeled and I was not touching the gas pedal. It was just weird. I love this car but I was told maybe it needed new spark plugs and wirers. Could that be all the cause espcially for mpg gauge to go bonkers? The check engine light is not on. So I am clueless. And dont want to get raped when I take it for repair :)
