i am buying a bmw and the clutch needs to be replaced. how much am i looking at to get it replaced and should i go ahead with it and buy it ???

An installed price for a clutch could be several thousand dollars if you dont watch what is happening, the flywheel will be resurfaced, not replaced and dont use the cheap after market parts. Total cost if done right should be about $1100 or so.
