I HAVE REMOVER OLD ALTERNATOR i AM ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL THE NEW ALTERNATOR. iS THERE A TENSION RELEASE FOR THE SERPENTINE BELT? I HAVE LOOKED AND EVEN BOUGHT A CHILTON MANUAL BUT CAN'T SEEM TO LOCATE THE RELEASE.

Pop the cap off the tensioner pulley and turn the Allen or Torx bolt to achieve adjustment. I recommend a Robert Bentley manual for your car as the one you purchased isn't fit for wiping your a** with.
