1991 BMW 325 no spark plug fire

Car ran fine the night before but when my friend went to start it up the next day she said that it wouldn't start. I checked for fire at the plugs and there wasn't no fire. Pulled the wire off the coil and checked on metal and got spark. When put wire back on and checked at plugs there was still no fire.

Could be several things, check the coil for power, check the timing belt, it may have slipped time or it may be broken.
