1990 BMW 325 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

can adjusting the valves to tight cause a timing belt to jump, and if all 6 exhaust valves were adjusted incorrectly wouldn't the car have been running bad?

Not just no, setting the lash too tight cannot effect the t-belt, no,no,no,no,no.
