Transmission problem
1989 BMW 325 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic tons miles

Driving around, loud humming coming from the rear, today, the right rear wheel locked briefly and now just a bad grinding noise. What could it be and how much, and is it worth it? First time on site, great work!!!

This sounds like the hand brake self destructed or a wheel bearing and will require a visual and mechanical inspection as soon as possible. Please do not drive the car, this sounds like a safety issue. ♥
